Awareness and Communication Skills for Every Relationship
“The more I learn, the more I realize how much I don't know.” ― Albert Einstein
Education. Elementary school, Middle School, High School, College, University, Graduate degree...PhD? Wow...that is a lot of time. A lot of work. We start learning the moment we are born and we really never stop. Our brains are constantly developing to adjust to our constantly changing environment. We never stop learning.
In your situation, you obviously decided at some point that you wanted to pursue your academics. You understood that there was going to be a commitment of time and energy to achieve it. It would take X number of years to achieve goal #1 and then another X number of years to achieve the next goal and so on. You understood that it would take time. Then, there was likely a point that you realized that no matter what goal you achieved, there was always going to be more to learn!
So what would your path have been had you just stopped learning the moment you first graduated? No more research, no more reading, no more development. What would have happened if you stopped trying to improve and stay current? You may have been okay for a few years, but before long you would likely start to lose touch with any changes and you would likely not be where you are now.
Education is so important that society places an emphasis on it and we have structures in place to make sure that it is a top priority in everyone's life. So what about your relationship? You can get any number of degrees in any number of areas, but have you ever attended or even seen a class about being a good partner? A Conscious Partner? Considering we want our relationships to last a lifetime, shouldn't we be constantly learning about being better partners, just like we constantly learn in other areas of life?
Regardless of your field, there are always changes that occur and new information to work with. Your relationship is no different. If you are passionate about it, you will find the continuous learning both necessary and interesting. There is always something to learn and areas to grow. It too can be fascinating. Let us show you how!
